Texas Construction Craft Instructor’s Association Meeting

Meeting was called to order by Ray Rangel at 5:45 p.m. Eighteen members were present.
1. Review opportunities for Construction on TIVA agenda.
- PEX, 2 sessions on Tuesday & Wednesday
- New session (WED) @ Del Mar College West, hands-on Plumbing 9-11am
- ICC class
- ShopBot
- OSHA 510
2. Recognized medal winners at Nationals: Ray Bannert
3. Recognized medal winners at State: Gene Schramme, TeamWorks
4. Emphasized that TCCIA members need to recruit presenters for future TIVA conference (summer 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX).
5. Announced that member Ray Bannert is TIVA board-elect for secretary-treasurer.
6. Ray Bannert brought forward discrepancies in Construction Tool ID and Construction Materials ID. Needs statewide consistency and should be produced from this affiliate group.

- Bannert proposed statewide PPT or “bank” of tools to derive future contest from
